Last song on the Revelation EP. This song written and named before we decided on a name for the band. After 2 hours and several pints in our local in York trying to decide on a name, we decided to use the name of this song for the band.

I've taken myself for granted all these years
Never felt the need to move on and grow
As I was the first to be where I am
I thought it was all i needed
But more and more I realise I was wrong

All that I know is becoming strange
I'm finding it hard to stay in one place
My thoughts dwell on finding something new
Something I can rely on.

If I can't find this new situation
Then I feel I may begin to lose touch
I managed to follow for so many years
Now I'm being slowly left behind

Sometimes I think I understand them
Decipher some brief moment of clarity
This does not last long
Deaf, dumb, and blind in this social circle

Whether they realise it or not one by one they forget
One by one they all find their place
Exactly what they wanted

If I am to find myself again
I must explore this new possibility
A chance I have been given to expand my world
So now I must move on.
